Magnetic Clasp

Magnetic  clasps are strong and important for safety purposes.  These clasps will open when the lanyard receives a strong tug.  They will hold closed for normal wear, but if you would catch the lanyard on something, the clasp will come open. The entire lanyard will fall off, but no spilled beads.

You could catch your lanyard in a door, or if you are around machinery, it could get caught there.  If you keep walking, the clasp pops open and you receive no harm.

If you wear a pacemaker, you should not wear a magnetic clasp.

I am always happy to replace a magnetic clasp with a lobster clasp.  Just contact me to ask for one.  No additional charge.
